Horticultural Sciences Student Club is a non-profit organization that tries to create an environment for grad and undergrad students in the Horticultural Sciences Department within the University of Florida to meet and interact with one another on a social and intellectual level.

The objectives of this organization shall be to:

  1. Provide members an opportunity to organize meetings, seminars, field trips, and other functions to broaden and stimulate professional interests of the members;
  2. Provide opportunities for members to gain hands-on experiences in the handling of fresh fruit and vegetables (for example, gardening);
  3. To represent the members’ interests: (1) facilitate direct interaction with field operations and commercial packing houses, (2) improve members' leadership, marketing and communication skills; and (3) provide funds for members professional improvements.

Starting Tuesday, February 13th 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
